Eerde International Boarding School The Netherlands is the oldest international boarding school (founded in 1934) and the only international school to offer boarding from age 12 in the Netherlands.  Located on a tranquil tree lined country estate in the Dutch province of Overijssel with easy and convenient access to major cities such as Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam, Eerde offers a safe and healthy environment for your child!

If you’re looking for a top quality, intercultural learning environment for your child (aged 4 to 19), you can’t afford to miss the opportunity for a personal introduction to Eerde.  Our primary and secondary education programs prepare your child for life-long independent learning.  The learning experience at Eerde is international, intercultural and individual, with personal attention for each pupil, based on universal personal values.  A place where your child can live, learn and develop.  Seventy percent of our students come from abroad making Eerde truly international.

Small classes, excellent teacher to pupil ratios and exceptional educational programs at Eerde, including Cambridge IGCSE (ages 14-16) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) (ages 16-18) are recognized and respected by the world’s leading universities.

Prior to entering the IBDP Eerde offers a 1-year Foundation IB Program.  The program is open to students who have completed high school Grade 9 or equivalent, and who are at least 15 years old during the academic year.  This one-year program is particularly well suited for students who wish to improve their English language proficiency before entering the IBDP.
