Founded in 1699, Sidcot is a thriving co-ed boarding and day school, in an area of outstanding natural beauty in Somerset, very close to Bristol and Bath and only a two hour train ride from London.

Sidcot is “quirkily different” being built on Quaker values.  It has always been outward looking and pioneering.  It focuses on values and what really matters – ensuring that equality, peace, sustainability and social responsibilities are key across all learning and teaching.  It uses a progressive approach to spark children’s imaginations, building the skills they will require to get the most out of their education and equip them for life beyond school with employability skills and talents for the 21st century.

A wealth of opportunity is available and key strengths are the Creative Arts, Maths, Languages and Science.  In addition an Equestrian Centre, excellent sports facilities and homely boarding make this the perfect place for international students to exceed their own expectations.
A full range of academic programmes to suit all types of study including a Junior Pathway (with intensive EAL support for students 11-13+); 2 year GCSEs or a 1 year IGCSE; BTEC Sport; full range of A Level subjects or the IB Diploma – are all available at Sidcot.

“At Sidcot Sidcot we are proud of our students’ academic record, but equally proud of their social skills, their emotional intelligence, their resilience and their determination to make a difference in the world.  This is a kind and purposeful place where we educate the whole person for a life of active, responsible citizenship.”  Iain Kilpatrick, Headmaster.
