Cardiff Sixth Form College was founded in 2004. As a small, private tutorial college, we were dedicated to pioneering a new approach. Combining small class sizes, excellent teaching and individual attention for each student; we believed in nurturing potential - and the results were first class.

Since then, the college has gone from strength to strength. Rapid growth has necessitated development on all fronts. We’ve relocated the college twice as word got out about our achievements and we now reside at Trinity Court, Newport Road. In the heart of Cardiff city, our modern, spacious campus is the perfect site for our growing ambitions – and we are still expanding!

Cardiff Sixth Form College has been ranked the top independent school in the UK by the Times Newspapers for 2018 and has been the top school in the UK for the past nine years.  89% of students achieved A*-A grades and 96% A*-B and 15% have confirmed Oxbridge places with 26% of the cohort going onto study medicine.  100% gain places at top Russell Group and international universities world-wide.
Teaching staff are all highly experienced with many having been examiners or inspectors in other schools.  Highly rated by the pupils, staff offer one to one support, tutorials and academic enrichment on top of their extensive teaching programme.

A designated careers team at the College drive and reinforce student passion for learning with excellent careers guidance, UCAS support, entrance to US and other international universities, lectures and work experience programmes.
There are over 40 different nationalities at Cardiff who live in state-of-the-art boarding accommodation comprising single en-suite bedrooms and studio apartments.
